Well guess what i just got a response from OffroadFabworks over on steelsoldiers.

This is what i wrote...
Darrell, My name is Carlos Luna and we need to talk, ive been trying to call your shop and if left messages and emails to both the email address and nothing. I want to know where my parts are. Ive been waiting since Febuary, i talked to you while i was home on R&R from Iraq In April and you said that all you guys needed were the rims so my order could be shipped. I paid you in full no questions asked, so i want my parts or my $6500 back. So i would really like to talk to you about this situation so you can leave a message on my cell phone in the states which i check everyday, or you can email me at carlos4x4sand@yahoo.com. I will be waiting for you response. Thank You

And this was the reply...
Carlos let me check into whats going on. you did not talk to me but let me see whats the deal with everything and i will get back to you.

I think is was just something to get me to back of a bit.

Moon I feel extremely bad for you! It seems you are screwed unless some miracle happens. Read up on Pirate4x4 all about this *******. He has screwed just as many people as Daniel from usa6x6. Both are declaring bankruptcy or already have. Pretty sad man but if there is a way I can help let me know. David put your thread on pirate in the bad sellers section as soon as you can!!!!!---------------------------kyle

Well Offroad Fabworks continues to dodge me. I called yesterday and i asked to speak with the owner or manager and as i thought would happen i was put on hold forever. Hung up and called back and it would go straight into voice mail. I talked to JAG and they said they couldnt do anything, and i would have to file outside of the army so ive lost complete hope with the Army helping me because i turned to them when i need help to get divorced and said about the same thing. My mom spoke to the police department and they told her to file there in brownsville and start by filing a report. So i need to send my mom the email and stuff to get that started. So unfortunaly nothing new. I really dont think that im ever going to see that money again. But i do want to atleast try and f*** this guy over thru the Better Business Bureu, and or put him in Jail. So we'll see what happens.

THIS IS THE LATEST "PM" FROM FABWORKS OFF STEEL SOLDIERS.

Sorry.. there has been issues beyond my control but i have not been able to contact the owner. I have tried numerous times to get a answer about your situation and say it needs to be resolved. I can put your order together if you can pm me what it was cause when the website went down i lost all copies and such and cant find it in the papers. If you can work with me on this (i know your pissed about it) i can try to take care of this myself. I cant really get into the situation going on here. But i can tell you that im NOT THE OWNER OF OFFROADFABWORKS im just trying to get some orders caught up and straight that the owner kinda gipped out on. if you get back state side and wanta meet up in person i would be more then glad to kinda discuss the situation. but i dont wanta see you get screwed either.(seriously im not trying to) but i dont own the company and there is things i cant discuss or get into with you about it via the internet.

Sometimes i really hate people. Oh well.
So now im getting the idea of just going Dana's and 44s(tires) maybe 49s. I really dont want to stray away from the idea of my rockwells, but sometimes i get really unmotived thinking about what happend. I dont know. One day ill say F*** it im just going to go 60s and then next i want rockwells again. Untill then my Rock project is on hold. Might be getting married, paying bills all that happy chit. lol. Im looking to complete the MoonRover by SpringBreak of 2010. Why till then? Well I get out of the army in November of 2009. So that will be a good time to have some fun. Hopefully with a completed truck. But like always only time will tell how things will go and end up. Only good thing sorta, is that im thinking about extending my time here Iraq, so that will hopefully add to the funds and be able to get back on track with the Rover.

I think you should still do the rocks dollar per dollar it problably will be cheaper to go with rocks over 60's and the rocks can be had for cheap, If I had some spare cash id get some rocks

Well guys, I back to planning my Rock build. This time i might just do it right the first time (We some of it) so i dont have to change it again later on.
So by right the first time i mean:
Linked Front with Coilovers
and
SCS Transfercase

Right now im still pricing parts again. An looking at different ways that the links could be set up. All i really want is a sturdy mount, really dont care about flex.

So what im looking at right now is
Full width Rocks Front & Rear
Disk Brakes Front & Rear
Running my 52's for Daily Driving/ V-treads for Mudding
SCS Dropdown Transfercase
Deuce Driveshafts Front & Rear
Hydro-Assist Steering(Thought about Full Hydro but i want it as a DD so i dont know about that yet)
Small Subframe what wraps around the t-case but would also serve as mount point for the Front Suspension and mount for the rear Traction bars.
